Festival Friends, Sponsors, String Academy and members of our wider community will come together and enjoy live music and a preview presentation of our upcoming Shipley Arts Festival programme for 2025 a very special anniversary year! We plan to include details about new music, information about the stunning venues opening their doors for us, the musical themes and inspirations for the year as well as String Academy Summer School, and some exciting new developments will be shared.

The Shipley Arts Festival, established in 2000, is a central Festival in the Bernardi Music Group’s calendar celebrating the connection between music and nature, wellbeing and heritage. Concerts are uniquely programmed and feature a variety of music performances and styles. Youth music is also an important part of the Group’s work supporting “String Academy” and “Sing with Strings” projects. We are grateful to the support from our Patrons, Friends and Sponsors who enable us to bring our inspiring music to our communities.

Unfortunately the live music sector has struggled to recover following the pandemic. The Cost of Living crisis has meant smaller audiences and falling revenues, and cuts to public spending directly affects the Arts across the UK at all levels.
