It is a wonderful feeling to embrace the changing seasons and we’re delighted to usher in the Summer with our return to the fabulous Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens on the outskirts of Horsham.
Tonight the Stradivarius Piano Trio (Maria Marchant – Piano, Jonathan Few – Cello & Andrew Bernardi – Stradivarius Violin) will be joined by acclaimed Indian Tenor, Anando Mukerjee for a musical evening celebrating “The Great American Songbook“. Expect some stirring renditions of several classics from George Gershwin, Irving Berlin and many more.

A native of India, Anando Mukerjee received degrees in Natural Sciences from both Delhi and Cambridge Universities. He pursued his vocal studies with some distinguished teachers, including Kenneth Woollam, Richard Nunn, Enrico Fissore, Ian Comboy, Glyn Paul and Nicolai Gedda.
Anando is known as a strong recitalist and has performed at prestigious venues around the world including the Crush Room at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, and Cadogan Hall, London; Teatro dei Rozzi, Sienna; NCPA Bhabha Opera House, Bombay; Al-Madinat Opera House in Dubai; and the Kennedy Center, Washington DC. His recital at Wigmore Hall accompanied by Leslie Howard was featured on BBC Radio 3. He has appeared at the Allensbach Festival, Germany, and gave the orchestral world premiere of Ian Venables’ Venetian Songs.
